Liguria is surrounded by the sea and mountains, thick woods crossed by wonderful foot-paths and its micro-climate results in warm Autumns and  mild Winters. Its natural beauties make it a perfect “Gym in the open air”, a region where within a few kilometres one can pedal one’s mountain bike freely along magnificent paths (where the Italian and Foreign mbk champions train), hang-glide from the plateaus of the Manie, visit the countryside on horseback, and climb the famous rocky walls of Orco Feglino (renowned all over Europe).

The Sea of Liguria is ideal for sailing, scuba-diving, kite surf and many other new water activities. (Finale Ligure was awarded the Blue Flag of Europe in 2002).
